UConn vs. No. 4 Michigan NCAA football analysis and breakdown

The UConn football team was completely overmatched as it traveled to No. 4 Michigan on Saturday, getting leveled 59-0 in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Expectations were tempered in the week prior, but the end result left fans with few, if any, positive takeaways from the blowout.

The 59-0 loss was the worst shutout defeat the program has suffered in at least 91 season. UConn lost 49-0 to New Hampshire in 1931 and to Purdue last season.

The Huskies were hardly able to muster any offensive production, totaling just 110 yards of offense in the shutout. Michigan conversely racked up 465 total yards, 273 in the air and 192 on the ground.
